The Janneh Kunda Kabilo of Sika is a culturally rich and historically rooted kinship group that encompasses several households united under a common identity. Though members may bear different surnames- including Janneh, Camara, Kebbeh (Kerra Kunda), Jammeh, Sanyang, Keita, Ceesay, Njie, Sonko, Ceesay, Manneh, Bah, etc.- they are bonded by shared ancestry, heritage, and community values.

The “Kabilo” concept in Gambian society reflects a collective of households that function as one harmonious unit in social, cultural, and communal life. Janneh Kunda Kabilo members can be found in Nuimi, Foni, Kombo, and across the diaspora.
